Major Project - FlexiPlane Rig


Used a tutorial on digital tutors to make a flexiPlane, so that I can have a bit more control in my characters limbs. I do remember a student using this last year and saying that if you do a scene cleanup it deletes nodes that are used and breaks the rig, so need to speak to Alan about this and what is needed. But really interesting to make and all works OK at the moment.

    I forgot to mention 'sticky eyes' to you today (see link below). If you're going to the extent of making a character have flexi-planes etc you may want to look the believability of the face. One thing that gets overlooked is that eyes lids change shape with the movement of the eyeballs. Adding this increases the performance value of the character...simply because eyeballs don't 'slide' around under our eyelids and eyes themselves are the thing that audiences connect with the most...There are two tutorials using blend shapes that you may be able to add to your current setup...
