Had a go at doing a run cycle, this is the first pass and a lot needs to be fixed and polished, but I think its OK. I want to make it alot more poppy when he runs but will do all this in the next pass.
Hi Mark, yes a little more would work/read better. Also, the link below is for an updated version of the 'pose library' I mentioned to you a while ago. It's a simple Maya plugin that stores character poses and animations for you in a menu so you can re-use them. For example, you can make a set of phonemes and save them in one menu, body poses in another, and animated sequences in another etc.
And...Tweenmachine if you've not come across that already. It's a simple script that allows you to create a percentage bias (inbetween/breackdown) between keyframes. Generally, I use a combination of both scripts to speed things up.
Hi Mark. Sol is looking good. Don't forget to rotate/pivot the pelvis and chest (opposites) as the legs and arms go forward and back.
ReplyDeleteexciting...
ReplyDeleteHey Alan, there is a 10 degree on both opposites, but if you think it needs me please say
