Hi Phil, Im trying to visualise the Metropolis scene, but seem to of hit that brick wall - I liked this comp as a pencil sketch, but not sure now I've started to paint, what do you think? I don't think it conveys the city very well at all.

agreed - i think it conveys 'space' and 'scale' but it does seem as if we're far too high up in that helicopter to ever experience the character of this city. Personally, I think a more human-orientated POV would create more opportunities for you to express this city as a place corrupted by the habits of its inhabitants...
