Try adding, a surface shader to your environment and then adding an Ambient Occlusion, would really make you scene 'Pop'. (To add Ambient Occlusion Go to 'Assign Material'-'Surface Shader, everything will go black, don't worry nothing is broken. Then click on the top little checker box, select 'Ambient Occlusion' and Ta-Da! Fabulous!)
Keep an eye on those hotspots. They can very easily ruin a very real-feeling place.
