Trying to workout how to get the details into chosen key thumbnails, and playing with the gradient map, though can't quite get the colours I'm after at the moment.

Digital Painting Tutorial



I have been trying to achieve a more painterly feel in my work for quite some time now, but I was never able to work out how to do this with the Photoshop brushes. However, with the brushes that Jordan supplied in todays class, I really think he helped me take a step closer. I do like those apples.

Texture Test


Experimenting with textures added to the Photoshop brush settings. I'm trying to achieve the look of a more traditional art style so that the clean lines of the digital artwork are broken up and slightly more natural to the eye.
